These high quality rugs are made by Lori Tribes people in Iran. The Lori Gabbeh's were originally intended for personal use as sleeping rugs for their nomadic life, however the demand in the west has created a exported work of superb artistic quality with a tight knot structure giving a very contemporary feel. The dyes are all natural, the wool is hand spun and the weaving is done on a floor loom, which can be disassembled for easy transportation. The rugs are each unique and do not come in a variety of sizes and each design is not duplicated.
